The World Is My Home | Rozet Arnhem

Bij Bristu Studio brengen we verhalen tot leven met beeld en beweging. Voor het culturele festival The World Is My Home, georganiseerd in samenwerking met Rozet Arnhem, creëerden wij een motion graphic en illustraties die de magie van storytelling en de rijkdom van verschillende culturen weerspiegelen.

Verhalen verteld met motion design

Voor dit project ontwikkelden we een dynamische motion graphic die de essentie van het festival vastlegt. Met vloeiende animaties, speelse overgangen en een warme visuele stijl laat de motion zien hoe verhalen mensen verbinden — ongeacht achtergrond of cultuur. De animatie werd ingezet ter gelegenheid van Wereldverteldag en vormde een uitnodiging voor jong en oud om zich te laten meevoeren door verhalen van over de hele wereld.

Samenwerking met Rozet Arnhem

The World Is My Home is een cultureel festival dat kinderen (6–12 jaar) en hun ouders samenbrengt rond animatiefilms en verhalen uit verschillende culturen. In samenwerking met Rozet Arnhem was Bristu Studio niet alleen verantwoordelijk voor de motion graphic, maar ook voor het ontwerp van de geanimeerde mascotte van het festival. Deze mascotte speelt een centrale rol in de visuele identiteit en zorgt voor herkenning en beleving.

Het festival vond plaats bij Rozet in Arnhem en bood bezoekers een inspirerende en toegankelijke culturele ervaring in een warme, creatieve setting.

Eén illustratie, drie toepassingen

Naast motion design ontwierpen we ook een illustratie die meerdere levens kreeg. Het artwork werd doorvertaald naar:

  • een poster
  • een boekenlegger
  • een ansichtkaart

Door het consistente gebruik van kleur, vorm en compositie bleef de visuele identiteit herkenbaar in alle uitingen. De speelse illustratiestijl versterkt het thema van het festival: thuis zijn in verhalen, waar je ook vandaan komt.

I AM JO! | Amsterdam 750

Voor I AM JO!, een bijzonder cultureel project ter ere van Amsterdam 750 jaar, werd Bristu Studio gevraagd om een motion piece te creëren over Jo van Gogh-Bonger. Dit project werd gerealiseerd in opdracht van het Van Gogh Museum en de Samen Sterk met Werk-alliantie.

Het verhaal van Jo van Gogh-Bonger

Jo van Gogh-Bonger was de vrouw die het werk van Vincent van Gogh na zijn dood onder de aandacht bracht en daarmee zijn wereldwijde bekendheid mogelijk maakte. In deze motion vertaalden wij haar visie, doorzettingsvermogen en invloed naar een krachtig visueel verhaal dat haar nalatenschap eert.

Creatieve samenwerking

In nauwe samenwerking met het Van Gogh Museum en Samen Sterk met Werk ontwikkelden wij een motion design dat Jo’s stem en impact centraal stelt. De motion maakte deel uit van I AM JO! en reisde door Amsterdam, waar het publiek werd geïnspireerd door haar verhaal tijdens de festiviteiten rondom het 750-jarig bestaan van de stad.

Impact & betekenis

Dit project benadrukt de rol van vrouwen in kunstgeschiedenis en laat zien hoe storytelling en motion design cultureel erfgoed tot leven kunnen brengen. Het is een ode aan vrouwelijke kracht, veerkracht en blijvende impact.

In 2024, Bristu Studio had the honor of collaborating with AVANS University of Applied Sciences to create a series of custom illustration frames for their Graduation Show in September. These unique artworks were specially designed to celebrate the top graduating master’s students and were presented as limited-edition prints during the ceremony.

Each frame reflects the spirit of innovation, creativity, and excellence that AVANS cultivates in its academic environment. Our goal was to capture that energy in a timeless design that the students can proudly take with them as a token of recognition and achievement.

Holiday Magic in Motion: Digital Card Design for Forward Inc.

One of our favorite projects of 2024 was a heartwarming collaboration with @forward.inc_. We were honored to be commissioned to design a custom digital holiday card that captured the festive spirit of the season.

At Bristu Studio, we brought the concept to life through thoughtful illustration, and with the incredible animation skills of faatemeh.heidarii, the design turned into a joyful, moving celebration. From concept to creation, the process reflected the power of collaboration and creativity.

The final result? A cheerful, animated card that Forward Inc. shared with their community to spread warmth and good vibes during the holidays.
